Mr. Li holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language from Hubei Normal University, and a Master’s Degree in Civil and Commercial Law from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. Before joining our firm, he has worked in large-scale law firms in Mainland China. His experiences including: domestic and overseas IPO, domestic and cross-border M&A, PE & VC Investment, real estates, cross-border bank (syndicated) loans and related commercial litigations. 

Mr. Li has provided legal advice to reputable enterprises in respect of their listings on the Mainland China and overseas stock exchanges, including: Shenzhen Jinjia Group Co., Ltd., Guangdong Ellington Electronics Technology Co., Ltd., Directel Holdings Limited, Guotai Junan International Holdings Limited, Prosper Construction Holdings Limited, REM Group (Holdings) Limited, Dominate Group Holdings Company Limited, Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Company Limited and so on. He also has considerable experiences in a comprehensive range of M&A. He has provided PRC legal services for state-owned and overseas listed companies on investing, acquiring/selling assets, equity, capital raising and debt restructuring projects in the Mainland China, including China Everbright Group Limited, China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited, Shougang Concord International Enterprises Co., Ltd., Nan Nan Resources Enterprise Limited, FDG Kinetic Limited, FDG Electric Vehicles Limited, Oceanwide Holdings Co., Ltd., Kaisa Group Holdings Limited and so on. In private equity area, Mr Li has drafted and reviewed partnership agreements, PE management contract, PE investment contracts as well as issued legal opinions for many private funds, including Everbright Holdings Incubator Investment (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen New Industry Venture Capital Co., Ltd., Zhongcheng New Industry Investment (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Qianhai Lixin Asset Management Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Pengnian Venture Capital Co., Ltd. In real estate area, he has provided legal advice for Kaisa Group Holdings Limited, Zhongcheng New Industry Investment (Shenzhen) co., Ltd, Guangzhou Zhonghui House Purchasing Company, Oceanwide Holdings Co., Ltd. etc. In the area of cross-border loan transaction area, Mr. Li has provided PRC legal services for many banks on cross-border loans and guarantee. In commercial litigation and arbitration area, Mr. Li has acting for a bank pursuing its claim against a company in Mainland China, acting for investors against a trading platform, and advising a bank to deal with filing for bankruptcy of a mainland company.

Mr. Li has been repeatedly invited to give lectures for Chinese Securities Association of Hong Kong. The Chinese Bank’s Association Limited and banking institutions on listing, investment and financing under the PRC law. He was also one of the contributors and reviewers of two influential professional writings on cross boarder legal area: A+H Company Legal Practice Research and Analysis, (2013) and A Study on the Legal Practice of Cross-border Commercial Dispute Resolution - From the Perspective of the Mainland and Hong Kong (2017).
