Introduction

Ms. Liu obtained a bachelor of laws and a master of laws (International Law) from China University of Political Science and Law, and a master in commercial and maritime law (LLM.) from University of Hertfordshire (UK).

She obtained the legal qualification certificate of the PRC in 1998 and started her practice in one of the biggest law firms of China from 2000. Ms. Liu is familiar with mainland legal issues and has substantial experience in handling capital market, real estate, banking and general corporate matters. She once provided legal services as external counsel to China National Development Bank, ICBC, CCB, McDonald’s Beijing, etc. and participated in various M&A and banking finance projects.

Ms. Liu mainly participates in Hong Kong IPO, banking, M&A and general corporate matters, and providing legal services regarding post-IPO compliance matters for listed clients and advising several private mega enterprises on different M&A, joint venture, financing and investment projects. Other than her working experience in law firms, Ms. Liu also worked for two multi-national groups as in-house legal counsel, involved comprehensively in legal matters relating to business management and operations, such as negotiation, agreement drafting, risk assessment of investment, litigation, arbitration, corporate governance and general corporate matters.
